Need date. Rose's first public lecture. Month per Augie's book. Retrospect 1974 "Notes on the year" says Pittsburgh and Kent groups formed Fall of 1972. Columbus in Fall of 1973. Cleveland Fall of 1974.
Title: "Zen and the American Mind" per into by Al Fitz's in 1992-0326-Truth-Lies-Ultimate-Reality-Pitt and in his book Sex Connection, Probably no tape made. Date from 1974 Retrospect. No poster.

Rose says this is his first lecture in the Cleveland area. Published as Zen, Spiritual Steps & Spiritual Systems in TAT Journal (4 parts, first is Nov. 2005). Some tape lists have this misdated as 10/23 (but that was Columbus - next)
R says he was in Kent the day before, but no tape located yet with that date.

Page was orig. dated as 1974-1012 which was thought to be an error. However, looking at the schedules in Oct 1974 and Oct 1975, the date fits with 1974 better. << this is now doubtful. Compare other Cleveland tapes Oct 1974 and Oct 1975.

This has been transcribed and published but audio tapes are missing. Tapes labeled "1975-1119 Boston College" are not this talk. See 1975-1119-Boston-College-date-conflict (next).
This is a different lecture than was published with the same title in Direct-Mind Experience. This tape has two different dates: 1) 1975-1119-Boston-College and 2) 1977-0311-University-Maryland-Baltimore. This version is better quality audio than U. Maryland. BM, DM, DW, MJ have both versions (same audio, different audio quality). Gary Gilmore was tried in Oct. 1976, executed Jan 1977. So date can't be 1975-1119.

Need publishing date of TAT Journal Issue 10, referred to in this talk, with article on Aborigines. "Winter" is in question because #10 was the 2nd issue in 1980.
