1917 birth

12 yrs old enters seminary

17 years approx, check, leaves seminary

20 or so attends college - studied psychology (first?) and majored in chemistry

Works in Baltimore, 2 different plants

Julian Frieze ID card Baltimore issued July 4, 1942.

[note: Sokei-an died in 1945 after years of war internment and poor health. Doubtful that Rose could have met him.]

Experience

Travels to west coast (1 or 2 times) E.g., meets with Hammil in L.A.

1946 (?) travels to Denver, works Jewish Hospital.

Approximate date: 1946-47 finds Levi's Transcendental Magic in a bookstore in Denver.

1947 travels to Seattle

1958 travels to LA, meets "Mac" McIntyre the taxi driver, who refers him to Pulyan and to the book Conquest of Illusion by JJ van der Leeuw - date ref Alan Fitzpatrick
