This talk was done by Emmanuel Arthur in April, 2009.

The transcription was originally titled: "1980-Metaphysics-Columbus"

There are some parts of Q and A that are not in the transcription.

There's a reference in first paragraph to a recent talk in Pittsburgh on same topic, recently.

Need to identify that talk - may help date this one.

Dave Mettle's tape says "Winter", with "Fall" crossed out.

Rose mention that the TAT Journal w/ Aborigines article is about to be published; has advance copy.

At end of talk someone mentions Psychology of the Observer, so the book was already published by this talk.

Hi Art, PC -

Would you happen to have the publication dates for the old TAT Journals?

Specifically I'm looking for the date of TAT Journal Issue 10, which has Jaqua's story on the Australian Aborigines.

Probably is late 1980. Copyright date is 1980.

Apparently the schedule was irregular by that time.

The following Journal, #11 is copyrighted 1981. It has John Lennon's horoscope. He died Dec 8, 1980.

I'm trying to date a talk: "1980 Metaphysics Columbus" -- and in that talk Mr Rose mentions that he has an advance copy of the Journal (with the article on Aborigines) in hand and it will soon be published.

From PC:

I don't know the actual publication dates of the Journals. You may want to try contacting Jake, who did all of the heavy work in converting the Journal text and images into digital format. When I was working with him about 10 years ago on this project, he remembered numerous details about the Journals...

From Art:

I don't have a clue, Steve.

If I remember right, Bob C. did the printing of the Journals. Don't know if there's a chance he might recall or be able to guess when Issue 10 was published.
